The chicken here is absolutely outstanding. Everyone within a ten-mile radius of this chicken spot knows it well. When you place an order, you receive generous portions of delicious chicken along with potatoes or other side dishes, all at a great price. Given how fantastic the chicken is and how good of a value it offers, if you find yourself craving fried chicken, make sure to order early—really early. There have been times when the restaurant became so overwhelmed with orders that they had to stop cooking for the night. I'm not sure if they ran out of chicken or just needed a break from working over a hot fryer, but if that happens, it's best to remain patient. The owner can be a bit grumpy at times, but trust me, the chicken is worth it. Chicken Box stands out as an unmatched gem in the area; it’s practically a local institution. Their fried chicken, which they refer to as "broasted" chicken, surpasses anything I've had from any chain restaurant. There's parking available, but keep in mind that Chicken Box is quite small—it’s literally just a little box. Their dine-in seating is very limited, so most customers opt to take their delicious chicken to go.

Chicken legs the size of my thumb. I've seen chicken wing drumlettes bigger than these chicken legs. I got an 8 piece, they were so stingy and making a big fuss about giving me 3 ketchup size packets of hot sauce. Won't be returning.
