I was pleasantly surprised during my recent visit to Applebee's. Our server, Kendra, was incredibly sweet and attentive. Everything arrived quickly and was delicious. The date night daiquiri is fantastic and only $5 for a large drink. The tipsy Cupid was enjoyable but not as impressive. The Oriental chicken salad was excellent as well, with a generous portion and amazing dressing. The whiskey bacon burger was tasty too, with a noticeable whiskey flavor in the sauce. We ordered the appetizer combo, and my favorites were the quesadilla and wings. I especially loved the garlic Parmesan on the wings.
The food was really exceptional! If you're looking for delicious fast food to enjoy with family, Applebee's is the place to go. I'll definitely be returning!
Haven't been to this location in years due to poor service. However, tonight they redeemed. The service was great, the food was served hot, fresh and delicious! Only complaint was the appetizer and main meal was served too close together. Will def come back!
I understand that times are though as far as getting help, but when no one comes curbside and you have to go in for your order after waiting 15 minutes in the car, there is a problem. Had to wait an additional 15 minutes for my order. The bar tender was sitting at the bar eating dinner at 7 pm. I asked her for help and was told to go wait by the door. I waited and finally got my order. For once the order was right. But everyone who ordered curbside ended up coming in for their food.
I mean, it's Applebee's. I might be a bit biased since I'm not a fan of chain restaurants, and Applebee's is definitely one of my least favorites. However, my daughter really wanted to go, so we gave it a try. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger, and unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The meat, mushrooms, and cheese were passable, but the onions were undercooked, and the sauce was just plain bad. The whole thing was served on a soggy bun, which didn’t help. It's a bit disheartening when the food you get on an aircraft carrier during deployment is better than what you find in a restaurant. The rest of my party had dishes that looked somewhat like food, and thankfully, none of us got sick. So, that's a plus! The service was decent, and I must admit, the French couple behind us added a touch of class to the place. I still can’t figure out what four French people were doing at an Applebee's in Lagrange, KY, though. On the bright side, the best part of my visit was discovering Applebee's exclusive Mountain Dew flavor, Dark Berry Bash, which I actually found quite delicious.
