Alexandre offers a great view over the marina and the sea, a beautiful restaurant with impeccable service. The food, however, was not outstanding, especially when considering the high price. Right at the waterfront in La Grande Motte, you'll find this fantastic restaurant. Outside seating is possible, reservation is recommended. The service is charming and the food as well as the wine is fantastic. Worth making the trip, if you are staying in Montpellier

Wonderful view over harbour mouth. Very attentive helpful staff asked for coupe de champagne but according to bill we were given kir royal which was ok. We chose springtime menu. Terry's asparagus & fois gras were exceptional, looked good tasted better everything you would expect from a master cuisiniere. His lamb was meltingly tender tho perhaps a little more cooked than one might have expected. My risotto was a disgrace the rice might have been ok but it was swimming in oil/ fat with some frazzled baby octopus on top. I should have sent it back I would never have served a dish looking like this to guests of mine. I think my duo of fish &lobster (supplement) had been ok but must have sat under a hot light for while as the sauce was completely dried up no use for the sauce spoon that's for sure. Meal ended better nice selection of delicious cheese & an amazing crepe soufflé (supplement). We did not expect a cheap meal but. The standard of my food fell way below what I expected from Michelin 2 knife & fork not to mention master cuisiniere
Great menus, great views and great service! Right on the water. On a nice day, sitting outside is fabulous!
