We returned here having had good experiences last year and the year before. Unfortunately, the food left a lot to be desired today. Two entrecote steaks were gristly and fatty. One of the steaks had been forgotten about and when it did turn up, it was obvious it had been flashed on both sides rather than cooked as it was raw. Only one steak out of four was good. Unfortunately, we don't know enough Spanish to have complained but it should have been obvious that we didn't enjoy it by the amounts left on the plates. Shame really as the place has good ambience and served good tapas yesterday.
We went with the intention of having a meal. Whilst having a drink before hand, I noticed the chef who was in full view, coughing continuously over the meals he was preparing. We left after the drink and went elsewhere. I was disgusted, surely the manager should have noticed and sent him home. Therefore we didn't cough up a tip.
Super service and dishes. Their menu has pictures so us foreigners know what to order. The wine selection is large. The avocado in our salad was however not ripe at all.
Nice, honest and hard working people, not so proff but as honest if it means to some people...
Unfortunately this restaurant has fallen from being one of the very best in Almeria to one of the worst, probably because the owner Antonio has opened to many different places, I've enjoyed taking large groups there enjoyed the food the staff have been fabulous, alas that's gone now, the steaks were always great along with lamb cutlets many lovely dishes, my last visit just over a week ago has been a disaster, the food was terrible left me with nothing more than to cross this place of a place to visit.
