Restore Public House - La Crosse

From the moment we entered Restore, we were greeted warmly by the servers and the cozy indoor space. The patio where we decided to dine had a great ambiance as well. We ordered the old fashioned and a cucumber gin drink, both of which were well-balanced. I would highly recommend the cucumber gin drink while the weather is still warm - it was incredibly light and refreshing. I opted for the stuffed piquillo peppers and the roasted cauliflower. The cauliflower stole the show with its perfect texture and just the right amount of spicy buffalo sauce. The piquillo peppers were good, but I may try other menu items next time. My partner ordered the halibut and it was outstanding - some of the best fish I've had all year. The halibut was flaky, tender, and seasoned perfectly, and the quinoa English pea salad was delicious. For dessert, we had the cheesecake, which was bruleed on top and served with strawberries. It was a delightful reminder of home. We will definitely return to Restore!

The restaurant is always delicious! I love the seasonal, local flavors, and interesting combinations on the menu. The house-made pastas and desserts are especially delicious. Honestly, everything is fantastic - just give it a try! The farmhouse chic decor and fantastic patio are wonderful, I hope the igloos come back this winter. The charming staff make the experience perfect. They even use dishware from a local potter, La Crosse Clay Center. Keep up the great work, RPH!

As someone who is used to being spoiled by my spouse's delicious cooking, I am usually disappointed by restaurant food. However, Restore Public House exceeded my expectations. The food was incredible, the service was great, and the atmosphere was charming. I would give it an A+.

Had an amazing meal at this cozy gem of a restaurant. Food, wine and service were all on point. Good value. Highly recommend!!

Third time I have been here, each dish is thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere is laid back and in the middle of a neighborhood. Awesome spot. Go here.
