Rub... read more OK the background to my review is that I spent nearly 20 years in and around South Asia, so I have a decent understanding of the food culture of the region. Ruby is the best Indian restaurant food I have had in Europe that's a fact. From the melt in your mouth aubergine pakoras, flavourful kebabs to the delightful Saag Paneer and soft Chicken Tikka it was all fantastic. I realise that not many folks visiting Paris will be seeking out an authentic Indian food experience, but if you are a local or seeking something a bit different, then get yourself to the end of Metro Line 7 and a short walk will take you to the tastes of northern India.

It 's been a lengthy search but I 've finally found a place with good Indian food in Paris (well, just a short walk from La Courneuve metro station), thanks to... read more It 's been a lengthy search but I 've finally found a place with good Indian food in Paris (well, just a short walk from La Courneuve metro station), thanks to a colleague and his Indian wife. The pakoras were light and crunchy, the chicken tikka and the "Seekh Kebab@ were excellent and the butter naan was delicious. They service beer and wine. Definitely going back!
