Was Jenny L at Cacio a mag?
I wouldn't necessarily label it as a traditional Italian restaurant, but my daughter really enjoyed the carbonara. She was craving pasta while we were at the Windmill food hall, so I ordered her a carbonara without black pepper. The flavors were creamy and just the right amount of salty, making it quite delicious. She nearly finished the entire dish, along with the accompanying breadstick. The carbonara cost $16.36 a... What Daniela Alvarado dislikes about Cacio:
We asked the lady at the counter what she recommends but I didn’t take her recommendation.. that was my mistake! I wanted to try the Cacio E Pepe since the restaurant was named that and when I tell you I regretted this.. that’s an understatement.. the pasta had no flavor and the noodles were kind of sticky.. the bread stick was good though.. I didn’t even eat it I too two bits and threw it away.. but I’ll be back to... View all feedback.
I ordered the chicken Parmesan based on recommendations but didn’t finish it. It was terrible; I would have preferred a shriveled gas station hot dog. The overall dining experience was quite unpleasant and sticky.

She was craving pasta while we were at the Windmill food hall, so I ordered her a carbonara without black pepper. The flavors were creamy and just the right amount of salty, making it quite delicious. She nearly finished the entire dish, along with the accompanying breadstick. The carbonara cost $16.36 after tax, and the portion size was decent, with a good amount of cheese. If we find ourselves in the area again, we would definitely order it once more. It's located in a corner, making it easy to find, although it can get a bit noisy due to its proximity to the games and arcade filled with kids.
This place is fantastic! It's not your typical Italian restaurant; it has more of a pop-up vibe, but the pasta and sandwiches are absolutely delicious. I opted for the build-your-own fettuccine with chicken Parmesan, and I was blown away by the portion size—it was huge! The prices are very reasonable too. The service was excellent; they even gave us a complimentary side of sauce, which is often charged for at other places. I highly recommend this little hidden gem!
