Food is perfect, service fun even if the boss is a bit fatty... but ask for a secret beer, it s so good
My family visited La Clusaz over The New Year period a celebrated a set of 70th birthdays at this restaurant.The setting is quaint and Rustic while still managing to be quite modern. Clearly the owner has put some effort in the decor.As a large-ish group of a mere 12 people, including two young children, we were made quite welcome and the service went smoothly. Several larger parties were near us and also seemed to have a good time.The fondues were really exquisite with locally collected mushrooms added to the cheese for extra flavour. Between a sub-group of 6, we enjoyed all 3 options. The Morilles was the best by a whisker. The rest of the party had the Pierrade, which also was a major hit.Service may be considered slid by those who are used to fast food joints, but then why are you here? To have a good time as a group and regale each other of your exploits in the snow.... This is a place for good times and we will definitely return!
