Logis Hotel la Creche Restaurant

When the receptionist saw that my husband had problems walking she immediately offered us a room for the disabled this was much appreciated. It seems that requests for special needs do not get through to the hotel from central Logis booking. The room was...very comfortable we have a good nights sleep. The evening meal was really excellent not only was the cheese board substantial, but it was left on the table to help yourself. But that was not all! The dessert trolley was something else. They don't count calories here! Breakfast too was substantial with an enormous choice. We would highly recommend.

I was recommended this restaurant, and it's not hard to see why. They serve a fine four-course menu for euros, with a couple of amuse-bouches thrown in for good measure. The food is very tasty, and you're very unlikely to leave craving more. Service...was perhaps a little hasty, but that probably resulted from a power-cut shortly before dinner-time. Very much recommended if you find yourself in the area!

We were recommended this by our host family who said it served authentic and local food. We loved it, the restaurant is a converted barn with old farming implements on the walls and old photographs in the hallway. The staff were attentive and welcoming but...most importantly the food was delicious. The set menu was good value as all the courses were lovely. The cheese board and the dessert trolley are deserving of special mention! The only unusual aspect, for us British, is that the cheese is served with no accompaniment so save some of your bread! Two of our party chose Millefeuille for dessert and it was sublime. The slice was almost the size of a house brick but with minimal help we finished it....
