Contribute FeedbackA truly disappointing experience. We ate on Monday lunchtime and took the menu du jour. The blackboard offered boeuf Bourguinoine, but that had run out by 12.15pm, which rather suggests it never existed, and pasta with faux filet was suggested instead. After a salty quiche Lorraine starter, two plates of pasta shells and steak eventually arrived, so lukewarm that we sent them to be reheated. The steak was OK but the pasta was served covered in a slimy greasy gravy, nasty, nasty. The final blow was the way a pichet of red wine from a box on the bar counter was charged at the same price as the menu du jour. Surprise surprise we only ordered a quarter litre and matey had brought a half litre which he could double his money on. I detest being suckered. What I could not understand was why the place was nearly full, maybe it is the only place open on Monday in a 10km radius? Since we are very familiar with the area, it was nothing to do with that. No agency on earth would persuade me to eat there again!
