Our spur-of-the-moment lunch was fantastic! We received a friendly bilingual greeting, had a great selection on the menu, and enjoyed quick and affordable service. The carrot soup I ordered was delicious, while the escargot dish was unique and very tasty. The seafood pasta we shared was absolutely divine! Although we were only in the city for the day, we would definitely return to this restaurant when we visit again.
The restaurant has a small balcony at the front for outdoor dining, giving it a pleasant and colorful appearance that is attractive and welcoming. The menu is original and offers a variety of options. The soup of the day was delicious, but the main course was disappointing and average. However, the warm reception and cheerful service from the staff showcase the hospitality that the city is known for. This dynamic city has seen a lot of growth in the last 20 years.
The restaurant is lovely, but it is only open for lunch. I wanted to try the carpaccio that was advertised on the chalkboard, but it was not available and we had to choose from the menu on the table instead. It seemed like we were there during the local lunch break. I would consider returning if I ever find myself in this city again. The surprise dessert was delicious!
I brought my parents to opiate at lunchtime when we were docked with the disney magic. wonderful experience! our server was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the grilled cheese and it was more gourmet, light and tasty. they need the mini beaber tails for...dessert!
According to all sources we caught Opia on a bad night (August 22). Bad/chewy steaks (both), overcooked seafood in the seafood linguine and drab salmon tartare, coupled with poor service made this night’s meal in La Baie very disappointing for us. Would not recommend based...on our experiences.
