I went to El Aula with my partner for lunch. First of all, to mention the amazing location of the restaurant in a mansion of the late XIX century surrounded by the Valle del Tietar. The restaurant has a beautiful terrace where we enjoyed a couple of drinks with the typical tapas before going inside for lunch. We were given a cosy table in what it seemed one of the living rooms of the mansion, next to a classic chimney, taken us to the c. XIX atmosphere. It was Sunday, so the restaurant became full in just minutes. However, the service was promptly and very friendly at all times. The food was just outstanding. You have a decent variety of dishes made from local products to choose from. And the portions are very generous (actually we couldn´t fit the dessert, even though we were told those were house-made). My partner had a special request, as she is vegan. When she mentioned that, no one showed any kind of surprise and she was prepared special dishes which she enjoyed a lot. The food was no-doubt the best of the experience, although service and atmosphere were not behind. I would definitely recommend this place and go bak again when I visit La Adrada.

We use to spend some days in La Adrada every summer. El Aula is our preferred restaurant for breakfast or dinner. A relax atmosphere in terrace, excellent service, lovely food, tinto de verano, pimientos de padron... Already looking forward to our next visit!!!
