Experience was memorable thanks to the amazing staff. They were incredibly accommodating to our needs — so kind and professional that at times I felt like they could read my mind! There was a tall young man and another man with a very warm smile who both stood out for their attentiveness and service. As for the food, I have to admit I had higher expectations. Some dishes were definitely good — like the one I posted a picture of — but others felt quite typical. By that, I mean the flavors were something I've had before at other restaurants, often for half the price. The concept and presentation were elegant and fancy, which I appreciated, but I wish the flavors had matched the same level. I was hoping for more umami, more depth, and more originality in the sauces rather than the familiar flavors we’re used to. When you're paying over ¥50,000, you expect the taste to reflect that price. So while the service and setting were top-notch, I feel the food could be elevated a bit more to meet the expectations set by the ambiance and cost. Went to Velrosier a while ago and I really enjoyed it. The food was great, the shark fin is truly something special. The foie gras and the dessert were also excellent and tasty. I enjoyed the wine pairings, especially the Mead, it was something unique. The staff was very nice and friendly. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
