Had no line at all! Unlike what others have experienced, but I went at 2:00. However, they ran out of their cattle holding shell. Very recommended! Although they are on TripAdvisor and I was afraid it would be too touristy, it was actually surprisingly more like a mom and pop shop than a tourist trap. The price quality ratio is really good. Very recommended to get the slices of beef rice dish instead of steaks. The steak was delicious, but the cut beef dish was better for money. Great place to visit the Arashiyama region!
I absolutely enjoyed the premium A4 wagyu beef steak here. I prefer A4 instead of the highest A5 class for better meat taste and less fat. The restaurant is at the end of a small alley, but it is difficult to find if you follow google or other cards. The first thing you should do when you arrive at the restaurant is to write you on the registration paper before the restaurant to wait for your place. Here's always a queue. The service is friendly and fast and the price is reasonable.
One of the culinary highlights of our trip. We came during the opening and fortunately sat immediately. The steak really melted in the mouth, you hardly had to chew. The rice dish is also highly recommended. The service was generous and the staff was extremely attentive. Thank you.
Delicious steak. Ordered the murasawa beef steak for about 6400 yen. Probably a must try at least once. Food comes with salad, rice, and some veggie sides. Interiors and exteriors were awesome. What a carefully planned layout. I like the placement of the small window as it ensures privacy, but you get to see something and not just a wall. There was no queue when I went here as there were few tourists due to the virus scare.
Such amazing steaks at this place, definite the best I've tasted so far but I only got Hawksmoor in London to compare to this. We tried the top A5 rated steak with the A4 steak. Both were delicious, so was the flat iron we ordered to share. As other have mention, it's a good idea to come early and put your name down and come back when it's opening time. If you are not back when you are about to be called then you go to the back of the queue.
