Simple yet you can feel the classy vibe and elegance. Minutes away from the subway and bus station. There’s a Family Mart right around the corner for basic necessities. Rooms are clean but ask for extra pillows and towels if you need them. Breakfast was probably my favorite thing! Order a hot plate (no open buffet) served up by the time you brew your fresh coffee. A nice variety to choose from on the menu and definitely tasty. I would have like to have had a water heater for coffee or tea in the room but that’s just my preference. 5 out 5 and would stay here again! Service: 5
We stayed at IMU Hotel in Kyoto and had a great experience overall. The room was small, as expected in Japan, but clean, cozy, and definitely worth the price. Everything was well-maintained and comfortable for a short stay. What really stood out was the kind and friendly staff — they made us feel welcome throughout. A lovely bonus was the free sake available at the counter, which added a fun and local touch to the stay. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly, clean, and warm place to stay in Kyoto, this is a solid choice. Would happily stay again! Service: 5
Handy location only 300m from nearest station and 15min walk to Kyoto station. Wonderful staff. Good friendly vibe. Nice breakfast included, cheap drinks for guests and free sake nightly. Would gladly stay here again. Service: 5

Breakfast: AM 7:00-AM 11:00 (LO AM 10:30 Dinner: PM 6:00-PM 23:00 (LO PM 22:30
Stay here for three nights and had a very nice stay in this whole vegan hotel. The service was very good, the rooms are well equipped and comfortable and the breakfast (and lunch) with organic vegetables were very delicious. Bonus points for the complementary free Sake for guests during the Happy Hour.
