The staff was super friendly and helped us with the menu (explained the dishes and their ingredients in English). The food was delicious and the portions the right size. Seating is limited, but the place is clean, and comfortable. And they have a cute little store section where they sell dessert items, sesame oils, etc. We bought a bunch of different flavored oils looking forward to trying them out.

The sesame flavors added a delightful twist to the dishes. The ambiance is cozy, and the staff is friendly and attentive. It was a highlight of our Kyoto experience.
