The owner was so lovely and helpful! It was just him serving and cooking but he did a great job. Clear on what options were vegan and even made us special bread to go with the curry. All of the food was delicious and tasted so fresh. Unfortunately it was empty apart from us which is a real shame that he didn’t have more customers. We would highly recommend! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥3,000–4,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Vegetarian options: Vegan options

What a wonderful authentic place, true deshi style curry. The owner was very hospitable and served everything very fast. The curry was and kebab was delicious. We enjoyed mango and killing dessert with masala chai. What a lovely place in Kyoto. Spice levels were on point and condiments were complimentary. Just had a late lunch in here with my partner around 16.30 so we were the only customers. We are vegetarian living in the Bangladesh community in East London, although I am from Scotland and he is English Caribbean. The owner was friendly and accommodating, the decor was lovely with musical instruments on the walls, and most importantly, the food was delicious and better than most of the restaurants at home since a lot of them use too much salt for me. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥5,000–6,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Spicy Sauce Vegetarian options: Vegetable curry and spicy sauce outstanding.

I am familiar with the intense competition among Indian restaurants in the Toronto area, so it's quite surprising to find high quality Indian food at such low prices. However, compared to other restaurants, the prices here may seem a bit on the higher side, with a paalak paneer costing about $15. Despite this, I would still give it a good score based on Japanese standards. The food was delicious with no complaints about the taste. The naan was decent, but could have been improved. The chef was friendly and accommodating.

The flavors were excellent. I highly recommend trying the tofu steak, as the seasoning is outstanding. The chef is extremely friendly and fluent in English. The menu offers a few vegan options, but the chef is willing to customize vegetarian dishes to make them vegan. I suggest ordering rice, bread, etc. to accompany a curry if it's not already included.
