The menu is simple, but the food is absolutely outstanding. There's something special about a small boutique restaurant that offers a limited selection, yet every dish is exceptional, and this place is one of those gems. Tess and I enjoyed a delightful date night, and everything we tried was delicious. Tess ordered a corn-filled pasta that was incredibly light and flavorful—definitely the highlight of the evening. I opted for a succulent pork cutlet served on kipfler potatoes, which were fantastic. The panna cotta was so delicious that I didn’t even get a bite! I chose the tiramisu, which was as light as a feather—truly beautiful cuisine. The pre-dinner focaccia was the best I’ve ever had. Overall, it's a wonderful restaurant, and I can't wait to return!
Finally, I've found a place that offers quality food! After visiting so many restaurants that are just trying to impress, it's a pleasure to discover a spot with a concise yet wonderful menu. The food was fantastic, the service was attentive and straightforward, and the prices were reasonable given the care put into the cooking. Thank you!
Absolutely amazing! The host, Dean Bamford, is incredibly funny and exceptionally attentive. Chef Daniel serves some of the finest Italian dishes you can find outside of Rome. The menu is concise, but you have to try a dish from each course. You simply can't miss this place!
There are a lot of great italian places in Victoria and i think this place ranks as among one of the best. The service was phenomenal which also added to the experience. They were very attentive but also left you alone (that lovely balance) i look forward to coming here again. The burrata was super delish and the Il Mare (i think it was) hit the spot garlicky seafoody hand made pasta with a hint of chilli.
Highly recommend Spaghetti Bar. The diner is intimate and decked out wonderfully. Menu is simple, authentic and lets the produce speak for itself. Executed amazingly, kudos to the chef. The spaghetti was seriously one of the best I’ve had, and the salad was refreshing. Had the special of the day white osso bucco. Not the highlight considering how good the other two dishes were. Service could have been more warm. But all in all a great experience.
