One of my absolute favourite wine bars I've ever been too! Great safe, great food and excellent Singapore slings!! An absolute must to visit!!!!

Great service, the staff really make you feel welcome. It’s a stylish bar with great tapas style food and I highly recommend the espresso martini!

Spent a fabulous weekend in Kyneton. On Saturday night we decided to pop into Dr Abalone before heading out for dinner. The staff, the ambience, the decor, the wine list and the menu meant that we weren’t moving! What a great night at a venue that ticks all the hospitality boxes.

Never Again. The staff were so wrapped up in themselves that we could barely capture their attention to get a drink let alone the 45 minutes we had to wait before we could order. The food was below expections very much appeared to be short cuts taken in the kitchen and really a very disappointing experience don't waste your time.

What a fantastic breath of fresh air this hidden gem is! I would give it a perfect 10/10, as it offers options for both children and individuals with food allergies. The atmosphere is truly out of this world, enhanced by a pianola that adds a unique touch to the setting. The pear liqueur is a standout that sets this place apart from the rest. The menu features delightful dishes such as roasted bone marrow, bratwurst, fried pears, peach sorbet, and a cheese selection that is simply to die for. This restaurant is now at the top of my list and is a must-visit in Kyneton and the Macedon Ranges.
