I stopped by unexpectedly and was pleasantly surprised! What a great pub with an amazing atmosphere, especially on a Saturday night. Although it was late (around 7:50 PM) and the publican said the kitchen was closed, the cook was still there. They serve some of the best dishes (I had a delicious parmie) and enjoyed a few drinks filled with good humor. We were on our way to Echuca, where we faced difficulty finding somewhere that would serve my son and his girlfriend a meal at 9:15 PM – such a hassle! A week later, I returned around 12:15 PM and found only three people there, but I didn't want to leave. Thank you, everyone, for the genuine Aussie country hospitality!
