Sunday breakfast was a little disappointing. Food was ok (scrambled eggs very good). Overall the Big Breakfast is overpriced and took way too long to come out. Reheated/grilled sausage was still cold, not nice. Grit in my mushroom that I thought broke a tooth. Expected they'd bring water to our table, but had to get it myself. Service was friendly though. The food was delicious (I ordered a ham toastie, which was a bit overpriced, but absolutely tasty). The staff were lovely, and the ambiance of the restaurant was great.
When our food arrived, we couldn't wait to dig in. My partner ordered Eggs Benny with Bacon, and it was clear from the moment he sliced into the eggs that they were nearly boiled to perfection (one was just slightly overcooked, but it was hardly noticeable). He appreciated the high-quality bacon, which was wonderfully crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Meanwhile, my Not Shakshuka dish was phenomenal. While it had perhaps a bit too much oil for my taste, the combination of beans, spinach, onions, shallots, garlic, and chili created an explosion of flavors that melded together beautifully. A squeeze of lemon added a refreshing acidity that balanced well with the hearty ingredients, making it a perfect choice for those looking for something different. As a vegetarian, I requested that the chorizo be served on the side for my partner. He noted that the chorizo was of excellent quality and cooked perfectly. The prices were also quite reasonable. Overall, it was an unforgettable and flavorful experience, and we are definitely planning to return. My partner is particularly eager to try the Savory Waffles. This is the best café I've ever visited! The atmosphere is fantastic, and the food is simply incredible. All the staff and chefs are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The manager is always smiling, which is fantastic for the business!
We came to breakfast this morning without making a booking, the staff was happy to find us a table without foot. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Food came very fast and especially the Croque Monsieur was delicious. Great prices too. Thank you to the team for a great experience.
It's a nice small, quiet cafe where you can get a beer as well as a coffee. Service is always good and so is the quality of food. The steak sandwich is my partners favourite.
