Went on a Friday and they had a $10 lunch special so a few of us got the chilli mussels. All portions were equal and just enough to fill you up. Staff are always friendly. There is TAB betting if you so desire light background music and is always clean when I have visited. Definitely will be back with our Netball team great way to finish off after a game View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Admiral:
Our table ordered two meals. One was a porterhouse steak and the other was roast beef with gravy and vegetables. Except for the veggies, chips and salad both meals were well below standard. The porterhouse and the roast beef were both tough, stringy and hard to cut let alone chew. Also, the meals took a long time to come. One positive thing was the friendly and understanding waitress. What a lovely place. Clean, light and very welcoming. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very well priced drinks and the food was beautiful and came out in a very reasonable time frame. Would definitely go again and would recommend a visit.
Awesome food, Massive Servings and Reasonable Prices. The service staff we had was absolutely amazing and genuine, had a good laugh and made sure we were happy. 10/10 Would Recommend, In fact going back for dinner tomorrow night.
My wife and I have just had lunch at The Admiral, Kwinana where we had, a generous size Porterhouse Steak with creamy garlic sauce, Lambs Fry Liver with creamy mashed potato followed by Sticky Date Pudding with warm caramel sauce. After placing our order the meal arrived quickly by the very friendly waitress who answered our questions on other matters as it was our first visit to the Bistro. The area was spotlessly clean with pristine cutlery; we are very fussy about our knives and forks. When the dessert was ordered we were asked if we required two spoons for sharing, to us this is forward thinking on her behalf. It was a very enjoyable lunch with low music playing in the background. Couldn’t find any fault and will return most definitely, next time for the Sunday Roast. The Chef’s also should be commended for their skills.
The service was average and the staff were friendly. The food was value for money with a pleasant atmosphere. Very up to date décor in a quiet location.
Four of us rolled up at the Admiral's Bistro for a mid-week lunch. Finding a seat was easy as the restaurant was only about 1/5 full. Service at the bar was quick and friendly. Meals were ordered at the counter and the ladies' food intolerances were easily catered for. The food was delivered to the table in reasonable time. I was looking forward to my Lamb's Fry with bacon, onions and mashed potatoes. You don't see this on a menu very often these days. Unfortunately the dish suffered from an overabundance of garlic and the liver was well overcooked. Lamb's Fry does not require garlic at all. If the chef does not know how to cook it properly, it should not be on the menu. My companions were happy with the dishes of their choice. Plates were cleared from the table in good time and we finished our drinks at leisure.
