I was not... read more This restaurant was a fantastic discovery! Even though I am not a vegetarian, I enjoy local, fresh ingredients so I decided to give this place a shot. I was not disappointed! I ordered the (vegetarian) burger with blue cheese and mushrooms on a bed of greens. The burger was incredibly flavorful and left me feeling satisfied without feeling overly full like some restaurant meals can. The mushrooms paired perfectly with the tangy blue cheese and the greens were just as fresh as the ones I pick from my garden. I also tried the oat milk soft serve and it was fantastic.

I deducted one star because the pulled portobello sandwich had onions even though they weren't listed on the menu. I like onions, but it wasn't what I expected. I also remember there used to be slaw in the sandwich, but it's no longer included. I miss the cheesesteaks, as they are now only available once a.

Latte was just right: not too hot and not too bitter. I only wish there were more low tables. I'm not a fan of bar height tables.

I am not vegetarian but I love local fresh food so I gave this place a try. And what I had was delicious! I had the (veggie) burger with blue cheese and mushrooms over greens. The burger itself was packed with flavor and let me feelingfull but not too full like some restaurant food does. The mushrooms were perfect with the tangy blue cheese and the greens wereas fresh as the ones I pick from my garden! I also tried the oat milk soft serve and was surprised how creamy it was! It was arefreshing treat on a hot day and I enjoyed the hints of flavor from the oat milk and other protein rich ingredients. Theystaff were super friendly and the atmosphere is adorable. I will definitely be back!

Even with all the world's cuisine at our doorstep in NY, we've not found a place that comes close toHive. All high quality, local, sustainable ingredients. Paul and Robin are the two nicest humans on the planet and alwaysremember us by name and welcome us with open arms (and treats)! Service from them and the rest of the staff is top notch. Cannotsay enough good things about this place. It's nice to find a place that cares about where their food comes from in addition totaking the time to get to know everyone who passes through. You cannot go wrong with the Hive Burger and the Vegan Mac nCheese. Add a house brewed kefir pop on tap trust us, you won't regret it!
