Was Anonym at Level 9 a mag?
the astonishing and speechless one! it should be very happy when they see these speculative thames flow view as they know it is quite rare to experience very sunny days. eating is quite average, but it is definitely worth it View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Level 9:
I visited London in March 2017, and the modern decor and stunning view at Did Caffe left such a lasting impression that I felt compelled to write about it a year later. The food was delicious, but what surprised me the most was how affordable the breakfast was, especially considering the romantic and exquisite view it offered compared to other places. The view is absolutely breathtaking! It's truly a stroke of luck to witness the spectacular Thames River scenery, especially since sunny days are quite rare. While the food is fairly average, the experience is definitely worth the visit.

We went to the Yakoi Kasuma infinity mirrors room exhibition and the lunch on level 6 was part of the ticket. Firstly the exhibition is overrated! Was so underwhelming and not worth the hype. You’re allowed 3 mins in the infinity room and 2 mins in the chandelier of grief. Wth is that?? I would NOT recommend. Don’t waste your money as there are better places near the Tate. It’s the last time I fall for a lunch included ticket. The food at the restaurant was awful! I can see why it is offered up with the ticket because no one would willingly go. They con you for sure. A two course meal that was part of the deal and then charge you an extortionate price for a bottle of water and service charge?? For what?! Who serves fish on a sauce that tastes like liquorice?! With sweet vegetables everywhere. The starters were bland and tasteless. The toasted aubergine was the only decent dish on the menu. But something you could easily make at home. I’m sorry but your menu needs to be changed and perhaps accept that British food lacks flavour compared to other cuisines. Perhaps consider a fusion.

Attended the Yayoi Kusama exhibition which I was quite disappointed by how underwhelming the display was although it was an interesting experience there wasn’t much to it. HOWEVER, dining upstairs afterwards made up for the disappointment, the view was amazing with large windows allowing you to see over the Thames the atmosphere was airy welcoming. The staff were very friendly as well despite how busy they were! The food was great too, I tried a new starter: chargrilled leek romesco sauce, it was lovely light on the palette and flavoursome, the portion was small but worked out in my favour in the end as I was stuffed after having the main. I had the confit duck for the main which was beautifully done, the vegetables bacon were a nice touch and packed a lot of flavour. Far better than expected.

Had the set menu. The food looked lovely but had next to no flavour and was, as you’d expect, very overpriced. My roasted aubergine was topped with a salsa that had clearly been pulled straight out the fridge and was stone cold, which made the whole dish lukewarm. The decor is drab and feels like a cheap canteen. Unless you’re sitting in the window for the view there’s nothing special about it.

The reason for eating here is the spectacular view across the Thames of St Paul’s. The food is ok, nothing special (scone was stale, but the server changed it for something else immediately). So, have a coffee and enjoy the great view.
