Considering the busy tourist area and lunchtime rush, we found this to be understandable. However, after a few minutes passed, we inquired about our order as our children were hungry. We were informed that our food was just being prepared. When the food finally arrived, it was evident that it was a budget meal as the quality was lacking. The presentation was subpar, with our food simply thrown onto plastic plates without any apology. We even had to return to the restaurant to request cutlery to eat our meal.

They did not provide any serviettes and when we as... read more The focaccia was so stale that we couldn't eat it. The staff were not knowledgeable and the service was slow. They did not provide any serviettes and when we asked for straws with our drinks, the staff didn't know where they were. Honestly, I could have made a better meal myself. In our time in the Cairns region, we have had some of the best meals of our lives and also some of the worst. This experience was definitely the worst. There are other cafes in Kuranda, so I would recommend going to one of those instead.
