The Covid test costs 350 Cedi. To make the payment, you need to visit the Ecobank at KNUST. They offer a round trip to the bank for 20 Cedi with a driver available. Please pay in cash at Ecobank and ensure you get a payment receipt, as the testing site does not accept cash or cards—only the receipt will be accepted there. I found this to be the deepest throat swab among the 13 tests I’ve had this year, and fortunately, there were no nasal swabs; it was just throat swabbing.

I visited this location for same-day COVID testing and was very impressed with their speed and professionalism. However, there are a few areas where they could improve. The landscaping could be enhanced, particularly the lawns. Also, it would be great if they could reduce the wait time for results to just 2 hours and consider lowering their fee, which is currently around $50.

KCCR, as it's often referred to, features a clean, welcoming, and peaceful environment. There's plenty of parking available, along with on-site security staff, and dogs are taken out nightly at 11 PM. Additionally, it's important to mention that this location also operates as a COVID-19 testing site.

I stayed in the guest house for about a month and it was just the right fit for my research needs. Shared full kitchen with just one other room. Utensils are provided. It's safe on grounds there with security. There's hot water. Internet is pretty stable. Restaurant is on grounds but it isn't open on the weekends. It also only focuses on basic meals with only water for drinks. Their food is good though. Communicating with the guest house was complicated at times because you aren't always fully given a tour or timing of when someone is around. You can only pay cash for lodging which as a foreigner is also a bit of a hassle if you are staying for a long time. Housekeeping was great. Rooms are spacious with closet storage and table and desk in room. Television has cable as well as local channels. I will stay here again, especially when it'll be for a long time. Knowing more now I'll be better prepared to manage communication. Also, unfortunately it appears that during a national holiday the cleaning service does not happen. I wasn't made aware. They give you a bucket for washing clothes and there's a clothes line for drying.
