The service and location of the restaurant is perfect and the food there (especially the Butter Prawn Pasta) is simply outstanding! The restaurant is very cosy with warm and welcoming ambience.Love the decoration and dining in this historic building is a priviledge. The food for me is a let down. I dont know what happened to the chef that night because other reviews says the food was good. For the price point, i am really dissapointed. I ordered fish chips. I got fish with a very hard batter. Not crispy but hard.small amount of french fries and a very watery coleslaw.Even kfc coleslaw is much better than this. My mom ordered seafood oglio and she got rubbery squid that was obviously over cooked. Ended up a waste. French fries was the regular small one not the crinkle cut fries that restaurant usually served to their customer. 3 star because of the food. Other than that Magenta is a nice and cosy place to dine.
