I was thrilled to hear that the Holy Guacamole restaurant from Georgetown would be opening a sister restaurant in KL. As a fan of Tex-Mex cuisine, I was excited to try it out. My favorite dish is the 5 layer dip, and I always end up ordering at least 2 for the table. The food was tasty but overpriced and not worth the poor service. It took 30 minutes for our food to arrive after we were seated, making our total wait time 1 hour and 20 minutes. Our order was incorrect and had to be sent back. We will not be returning, as it is simply not worth it.
Wow, it has been a long time since I have been so disappointed in a restaurant. When we arrived, we were told that there were no tables available due to reservations. We waited for 40 minutes even though there were 7 available tables the whole time. They clearly prioritize reservations over actual customers who are waiting in line, even if the reservations are late. This is so unprofessional. Trust me, this isn't just a one-time bad experience, it happens all the time. The food was tasty and good, but way too expensive and not worth the poor service. Our food actually arrived 30 minutes after we were seated, so we ended up waiting for a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes. The order was wrong and had to be sent back. We will not be returning, it is simply not worth it.
I was thrilled to hear that Holy Guacamole, a restaurant I love for its Tex-Mex cuisine, had opened a sister restaurant in Georgetown, KL. My go-to dish is the 5-shift dip, which I always order at least two of for the table. The staff is friendly and helpful, but it's best to make a reservation in advance, as is typical in KL. I highly recommend trying their sour plum frozen margarita, or any of their other tasty margaritas, as they are all delicious.
