Gather Cafe - KOTARA

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The staff seemed disinterested in serving customers and didn't appear to want to be there. The nachos were soggy, the chipolatas were barely cooked, and the coffee tasted like dirt. The bottom of the glass I received was dirty, and my table hadn't been properly cleaned. Overall, it was a waste of both my time and money, and I won't be returning.

So far this month, I’ve waited 20 minutes and have been ignored by the staff on every occasion. It feels like I’m invisible, or perhaps the staff just hasn’t been trained properly in customer service. While the workers seem curious, the regular employees provide standard attention. It’s a shame because the prices are really good and the food is decent.

A few weeks ago I had a server called mikkie she was polite, helpful, smiled at me and made my morning excellent. she didn't know that she was going through personal tragedies at the moment and it wasn't necessary, she was just nice to me anyway. I appreciated her exemplary service and her attitude.

Loved this place for the friendly staff and eating. I had a skorn with jam and saw and it was delicious! lunch was a yamo melt with chicken avocardo tomaten and cheese! the bread used was beautiful and thick and delicious. they look forward to returning.

My colleague and I were having a rough day at work nearby when we decided to stop by this restaurant. The staff at the counter greeted us warmly and recommended their fantastic iced latte and iced mocha, which really brightened our day. We were pleasantly surprised by the generous sizes of the drinks, especially considering they were much cheaper than similar iced beverages in the Sydney area. Not to mention, they were absolutely delicious!
