Restaurants from Kos Menu

Absolute insider tip. Traditional cuisine that couldn't be better. Both are very demanding and have to say one of the best restaurants on Kos. The fish is ok but the gyros is definitely the best on Kos. No frozen goods and SchnipselGyros. Here the meat is fried juicy over a LavaGrill by the father. 100% the best gyros. Were 14 days on vacation here and eat twice a day in different restaurants on the island. By far the first place for gyros. Also very inexpensive. Also try a mixed starter platter. Mega !!!!!!! Grape leaves and stuffed zucchini flowers are a must. Staff is great too. You feel very comfortable here. Family owned since 1960. My favorite restaurant : (Original Absoluter Geheimtip. Traditionelle Küche wie sie nicht besser sein kann. Sind beide sehr anspruchsvoll und müssen sagen eines der besten Restaurants auf Kos. Der Fisch ist ok aber, der Gyros definitiv der beste auf Kos. Keine TK Ware und SchnipselGyros. Hier wird das Fleisch saftig über einem LavaGrill vom Vater gebraten. 100% das beste Gyros. Waren 14 Tage Im Urlaub hier und zweimal täglich in verschiedenen Restaurants der Insel essen. Mit Abstand Platz 1 für Gyros. Zudem sehr preiswert. Probiert auch eine gemischte Vorspeisenplatte. Mega !!!!!!! Weinblätter und gefüllte Zucchiniblüten ein Muss. Personal ist auch super. Hier fühlt man sich sehr wohl. Seit 1960 in FamilienBesitz. Mein Lieblingsrestaurant :

Astonishing old tavern, vater cook everything in the small kitchen. Go in and watch the pots!

If you visit the island of Kos, then you MUST pass by Serifi.. In the area of Platani or as it is called in Kos Kermendes , one of the oldest but also the best taverns on the island!! In a truly idyllic place, under large plane trees, which offer a unique coolness even on very hot summer days, you can taste excellent dishes of Turkish and Greek cuisine such as: Sarmadaki made of freshly wrapped vine leaves not canned , unique pumpkin flowers with rice and with cheese a big personal weakness for those with cheese!! , daily dishes of the hour tas and bap with ajen pilaf, artichokes alla polita, stuffed, okra, moussaka, beans with beef and much more... you really don 't know what to choose first..and of course you can enter the kitchen and see them for yourself!!! , grilled meats of the hour with awesome and delicious kebabs like Iskender and Urfa, believe me...but also for the lovers of hot food there is the adana kebab..also very tasty , grilled beef liver amazing!!!! combine with the white or red wine produced by the same!!! And all this in a very pleasant and traditional environment that will make you go again and again and again... Regarding the prices, far from the cheapest on the island. .but the best ones too..now you will say how is that possible??? ..My advice:One visit will convince you..trust me...Like the Sheriff,NOWHERE!!!!!! !! Original Αν επισκεφτείτε το νησί της Κω,τότε ΕΠΙΒΆΛΛΕΤΑΙ να περάσετε από τον Σερίφη..Στην περιοχή Πλατάνι ή όπως την λένε στην Κω Κερμεντές ,μία από τις παλαιότερες αλλά και συνάμα καλύτερες ταβέρνες στο νησί!!Σε ένα μέρος πραγματικά ειδυλλιακό ,κάτω από μεγάλα πλατάνια,τα οποία προσφέρουν μία μοναδική δροσιά ακόμα και τις πολύ ζεστές μέρες του καλοκαιριού ,μπορείτε να γευτείτε εξαιρετικά πιάτα της τουρκικής αλλά και της Ελληνικής κουζίνας όπως:Σαρμαδακια από αμπελόφυλλα φρεσκοτυλιγμενα όχι έτοιμα κονσέρβας ,μοναδικοί κολοκυθοανθοί με ρύζι αλλά και με τυρί μεγάλη αδυναμία προσωπική σε αυτούς με το τυρί!! ,καθημερινά μαγειρευτά της ώρας τας και μπαπ με ατζεν πιλαφ,αγκινάρες αλά πολιτα ,γεμιστά,μπάμιες,μουσακάς, φασολάκια με μοσχαρίσιο κρέας και πολλά άλλα..πραγματικά δεν ξέρεις τι να πρωτοδιαλεξεις..και φυσικά μπορείς να μπεις μέσα στην κουζίνα και να τα δεις και συ ο ίδιος!!! ,ψητά της ώρας με φοβερά και πεντανόστιμα κεμπάπ σαν το ισκεντέρ και το ούρφα δεν έχει πιστέψτε με..αλλά και για τους λάτρεις του καυτερού υπάρχει το αδανά κεμπάπ..επίσης πολύ νόστιμο ,συκώτι μοσχαρίσιο στη σχάρα εκπληκτικό!!!!Φρέσκες σαλάτες της ώρας και όχι έτοιμες στο ψυγείο..και πολλά αλλά μεζεδάκια που θα σας καταπληξουν!!!Όλα αυτά μπορείτε να τα συνδυάσετε με το λευκό ή κόκκινο κρασί παραγωγής του ίδιου!!!Και όλα αυτά σε ένα πολύ ευχάριστο και παραδοσιακό περιβάλλον που θα σας κάνει να πάτε ξανά και ξανά και ξανά...Όσον αφορά Τις τιμές,μακράν από τις πιο φθηνές στο νησί..αλλά και τις καλύτερες..τώρα θα πείτε πώς γίνεται αυτό;;;;; ..Συμβουλή μου:Μία και μόνο επίσκεψη θα σας πείσει..πιστέψτε με...Σαν τον Σερίφη,ΠΟΥΘΕΝΆ!!!!!!!!
