As we were on the outskirts of Kos, and not many restaurants near us were open we ended up eating... read more This restaurant was recommended by the owner of our apartment. As we were on the outskirts of Kos, and not many restaurants near us were open we ended up eating here on three of the five nights we were in Kos. We found the food to good quality and reasonably priced. However the service is a bit hit and miss which is why I have not given 5. It is a large restaurant with indoor and outdoor eating, we ate indoors each visit. Highlights of the food we had were:spinach and yoghurt, sea bream, lamb chops and fava dip. On the first visit it proved difficult to get the bill, we finally got someone's attention but had to ask again. On the second occasion after finishing our starters we waited a long time before being told our main courses had been thought served. They then turned up quickly, we were told that they had been taken from other people's orders. We were offered a choice of free liqueur or dessert as recompense which was fine. However whilst waiting we noticed that the waiters were not always sure where they were taking food meaning that plates of food were cooling whilst this was clarified. One table asked for the bill and got a basket of bread. On the third occasion after starters we ordered a souvlaki, tsaziki and grilled vegetables to share but the Vegetables arrived 10 minutes before the meat which we had to remind them about. A really good restaurant which just needs to improve on the service.
