The flavors of these tapas were a party on the tongue. Even if the ingredients look like something you don’t think you will like, have courage as every bite is a culinary delight. We did the chefs menu. When we ate there our first night we knew we would be back. It was that good on our third and final night we returned as a farewell to a lovely 3 days on Korcula. I usually like to detail which tapas I liked best but that would be like picking my favorite child. I am typically not a huge vegetable fan but I would rank the vegetarian amongst my faves probably due to the surprise of how much I could love veggies. We had marinated mussels, grilled leeks, grilled tomatoes, grilled artichokes, fish in adobo, beef cheeks. All delicious. I probably preferred the chocolate and four spices dessert over the Torrija. But my husband preferred the Torrija. You truly can’t go wrong. Without a doubt our best meal in Croatia. I doubt I will ever forget this meal. And staff were so delightful too. They remembered our favorite table and preferred wine. If you are deciding where to dine in Korcula, Ignis is not to be missed. As I wrote my friends back home if you are ever fortunate to find yourself on the island of Korcula go to Ignis. Forget thatgo to Korcula so you can dine at Ignis.
