Contribute Feedback What SANKET I likes about Mainland China:
Overall great hospitality and test. Few items are great and above expectations of test. Few items in veg food were disappointing. Staff courteous. Nice ambience. Good for kids and infants. View all feedback.
A really amazing place for Chinese lovers. Ambience is amazing too and a cozy atmosphere staff is also really nice and cooperative. All Chinese dishes are authentic and worth a try.
Food is good. Decent buffet. But mainly service by Tarit was AMAZING. Thank you Tarit!
Very good place to dine with family and friends if want to try some seafood.<br/ All thumbs-up <br/
This was my first ever visit to Mainland China and I was quite impressed! Located at the ever popular R City mall, this outlet is massive. The ambiance has an Asian theme to it with a modern and luxurious feel. <br/ <br/ We were hosted by the Manager Pankaj who was very friendly and helped us with our choice of dishes and drinks. A quick shoutout to the entire front of house team who made our visit a memorable one.<br/ <br/ We began with a round of their Eight treasure chicken soup. It has the look and feel of a sweet corn soup that has been bumped up to a luxurious level with loads of ingredients, especially the slices of almond that give it a nice crunchy texture.<br/ <br/ We had a long list of appetizers, the vegetarian ones we tried out were Crispy Lotus stem with curry leave and Black pepper and Crispy Corm Chili pepper. While I am not a fan of crispy corn in general, my friend loved it. Lotus stem on the other hand was excellent, its sticky, sweet, spicy and delicious. Worth trying out!<br/ <br/ The non vegetarian dishes we tried out were, <br/ Crispy Ginger Chicken, Pan Fried Barbecued Fish, Dynamite Wasabi Prawns and Stir Fried lamb with leek and Garlic. Crispy ginger chicken and the fish were good, fresh and packed with flavor. The other two were excellent, the lamb was fresh and cooked to perfection, I loved the tender texture, almost melts as you bite into it. I am a huge fan of Popcorn Shrimp, and their Dynamite wasabi prawns is a perfect example of it, the shrimp is chopped up and deep fried with crisp outer layer yet soft and tender on the inside. What makes it even better is the wasabi mayo coating, heaven served in a cocktail glass! Strongly Recommended! <br/ <br/ Coming to the best part and the highlight of our meal, their Dumplings! I must say Mainland China has some of the best dumplings I have ever had. The non vegetarian ones we tried were Basil Flavored Chicken Dumpling and Sichuan Style Steamed chicken Dumpling. The Basil Chicken was your regular chicken dumpling, the sichuan dumplings took me by surprise, they come swimming in a bed of sichuan sauce and dusted with a coating of Sichuan pepper corn powder that gives it a powerful spicy kick, loved it. <br/ <br/ In a rare case where you will here me say this, none of these compared to the veg dumplings!! They were phenomenal and by far the best veg dumplings I have had the Edamame Dumpling with truffle oil is just perfect, mild creamy and delicious, just a dunk in their Chili Soy sauce takes them to a whole new level. The Pan Fried Japanese Dumpling which were stuffed with Mushrooms and fried in truffle oil too were excellent, they have strong truffle flavor and rich creamy texture. Absolutely loved it and I would definitely visit again just for these dumplings! Strongly Recommended even if you are a hardcore non vegetarian like me. <br/ <br/ After these long list of starters it was time for mains which lived up to the expectations set by there starters. We tried out their Braised Chicken in smoked chili Sauce, Slice Fish in oyster sauce and Double spicy Chengdu chicken. Again, three perfectly cooked and spiced dishes, we liked all of them. What surprised me here was the rice and noodles and how flavorful it was. We tried the<br/ Ginger Capsicum Fried rice, Celery and Chinese cabbage fried rice with chicken and Japanese wheat Noodles. I loved how there was no compromise on flavor even in their fried rice. <br/ <br/ Finally after one of the longest meals I have had it was time for dessert and yet again we were blown away with their Palm jaggery ice cream, something quite unique. It has a crunchy creamy texture and delicious sweet milky flavor. Absolutely loved it. Even their mango pudding was rich creamy and delicious but the ice cream stole the show. <br/ <br/ Lastly a huge shout out to the bar team for serving us some excellent cocktails, being whiskey lovers we tried out their Whiskey based cocktials Paul john sour, New York sour, Oriental johnnie and Not so old Fashioned. All of them were excellent and packed with flavor and a strong kick of whiskey, however if I had to pick a winner it would be the Oriental Johnnie for its refreshing flavor with the Not so old fashioned in second place.<br/ <br/ Overall I had an excellent time at Mainland China and I would surely recommend visiting with friends and family for a nice long dinner, perfect place to host a party if you have a big group. Cheers!
We ordered dimsums, seafood appetizers, seafood mains with rice. <br/ <br/ Everything was super nice. <br/ <br/ What was the best part was the staff was super attentive. And we loved the ordering part. Tab with photos of the food. <br/ <br/ And the staff amazed us with complementary desserts. Fully impressed!
