It's a community hub that focuses on preserving and sharing the often-overlooked history of Black residents in Kokomo. It's a place to find conscious literature and works by Black authors that are hard to come by elsewhere in the area, to engage in language exchange, and to attend events that expand both minds and perspectives. The café also showcases and supports Black artists, confidently establishing a welcoming presence in the square with a spirit of generosity and pride. On more casual days, you can relax, play board games, browse interesting materials, or meet new people. This establishment deserves our support—Kokomo truly needs Bind Cafe.

We just popped in to explore the café, so I can't speak to the coffee itself, but I really appreciate her commitment to ethical sourcing, and it definitely had a delicious aroma!
