I have driven by the Stone Mason's Distillery (also known as "Glenlossie") in Kojonup close to a dozen times (at different times of the day) in the past year while travelling between Perth and Albany, with plans to stop in and check out the place. In every case it has been closed. Other people have reported the same elsewhere. Are they EVER even open?
A great line of Pizzas, but try some of the more unusual things on the menu, such as the rabbit or the duck. You won't be disappointed.
Very good quality food, good coffee and average wine. Distillery produces various liquor store but I have not sampled them. The only criticism I have is the acoustics in the restaurant - it does tend to be a bit noisy but if you are intent on eating rather than talking, that won't worry you.
to try a little bit of everything, so I decided to order a variety of dishes to share with my dining companions. We started with the seafood appetizer platter, which included oysters, shrimp, and crab cakes. Everything was fresh and delicious, especially the crab cakes which were perfectly seasoned and crispy. For the main course, I ordered the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The steak was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth, while the sides were flavorful and well-prepared. Overall, I was impressed with the quality of the food and the attentive service. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.
