We came through from Albany just after lunch and it was clear by the number of people around the bakery that it was the only place open and just when we thought there was nothing much left on the shelves out came a fresh tray of pies. You beauty, the beef and bacon pies were awesome. Grabbed a few cold drinks and we were off! Recommend the stop.

Did not drink it as it was Very weak and didn't even have a taste of coffee. The Bakery was busy and the food looked ok didn't try anything though as we weren't hungry just wanted a good coffee.

As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the enticing smell of freshly baked goods. I was tempted to purchase one of everything, but ended up settling on some Vegemite and jam scrolls. The prices were reasonable as well.

As my road trip came to a close, I stopped at Gourmandise for breakfast and enjoyed a smoked salmon quiche and pastries. I then visited Albany Boatshed Markets... read more As my road trip came to a close, I stopped at Gourmandise for breakfast and enjoyed a smoked salmon quiche and pastries. I then visited Albany Boatshed Markets and sampled a gluten free beef spicy sausage before heading to East Porongurup. There, I attended "The Black Olive At Zarephath" event at Zarephath Wines featuring chef Mark Olive. It was a fantastic event, but I had to rush back to Perth. On the way, I stopped at a roadside bakehouse in Kojonup for a steak and cheese pie, which was tasty. Finally, I made it back to Perth, feeling glad to be home.
