Was Angelika Giese at Weineck Wallroth a mag?
The menue of the day with appetizer, main course and dessert for 39,90 is a good catch. The variety of wines is very good as well. If you want to eat big portions for a few bugs, this is probably not the right place for you. If you want to have a delicious and creative dinner, it is :-) View all feedback.

Booked in here for a Saturday evening meal, the restaurant was busy as expected, but it never really felt like it, because the tables are well separated and the staff were perfectly attentive and helpful. I'm no great wine connoisseur so was slightly concerned this might be a bit too much of a wine bar serving food, as opposed to a restaurant with decent wine, but it was definitely the latter. The first thing that struck us was the general atmosphere of the place which just felt very cosy and friendly. It's slightly out of the main city centre, I think we were the only non-Germans in the place, and the menu was all German, which all added to the view that this was an authentic decent restaurant, and not particularly aimed at tourists. With some help from some friendly fellow diners and the waiting staff, we just about managed to work out what the menu was about, although it wasn't until later that I was able to find out what schwarwurzel was! The food was excellent throughout, the portions sizes small but definitely enough over 3 courses, and the taste of the food simply exploded in your mouth. It's not cheap, but not stupidly expensive either. Overall a fabulous and enjoyable experience.

Restaurant located in the center of cologne. Finding a place to park is a nightmare. Once found we walked to the restaurant, welcome was friendly. Menu card with little choice, 4/5 starters and 4/5 mains, this is always a good sign means they work with fresh products. Indeed quality of the food was good and all at reasonable prices. I will come again despite the difficulty finding a place to park.

The Wein & Dine couldn't be located any better and in my opinion has one of the most inviting appearances of all restaurants in Cologne. The Interior: Pleasant warm colors dominate the interior, which manages to maintain a good balance between a classy and comfortable style. Here and there somewhat over the top, but pleasant. The service: Friendly and quick. The Food: Decent quality entres, very delicious main course. Creative interpretation of German kitchen classics, very recommendable. All in all a fair value for money kind of restaurant that might not be first choice for those very special occasions, but definitely recommendable.

I have been here for business dinners a couple of times now as the food is always so tasty. I've eaten here early but the restaurant always has a good atmosphere. The menu is very small (about 5 starters, 5 mains and 5 desserts). I like this as I always struggle to choose from big menus! The first time I went the chef gave us a selection of the starters each for our main meal. This was lovely and like a taster menu. On Monday when I visited I ordered from the main courses and had a beautifully cooked guinea fowel. The portions are just right and the food is delicious - really good flavours. The waiters seem to know their wine as well and gave us a good choice of white wine to drink. I'll be making this a regular choice for dinner from now on.
