Was Eileen Parker at Café Vreiheit a mag?
A friend told us to meet here and when I checked it on Trip Advisor I thought it could be nice, though I didn't expect to have many options for a breakfast. But a nice surprise awaited me. The menu included at least one specific...vegetarian more not indicated but still vegetarian options) and one vegan meal. It was also very clear indicating that you could ask for a list of Allergens and, even if the menu didn't say... View all feedback.

This was a very nice spot to have dinner. Although there are too many lights in the area of the bar, the rest of the restaurant is nice, cozy and comfortable to sit. And despite it was November the biggest negative point is the fruit...flies that were there. Service is very friendly. I personally had the great burger which was good and the desert was great too "nougatparfait

At TripAdvisor's recommendation, and the fact that it was about five minutes walk from our hotel near Mulheim Wiener Platz, I visited the Vreiheit for an evening meal. There is an outdoor eating area just across the street but I selected an indoor table with...my son. My only criticism was the chairs were uncomfortable as there were no cushioned seat-pads. The tables are inset with local handicrafts and are a conversation starter whilst waiting for service which was prompt. The walls were decorated with a library of books. Our waitress was helpful and smiley. I chose a meal with spare-ribs and potato wedges and salad. There was a welcome basket of bread that arrived with an interesting refreshing dip before our main meal. On a subsequent visit (yes, I went again a few days later there was another dip, this time garlic infused and delicious. My meal was and my glass of Kolsch beer was The salad was really gorgeous it had slices of apple and an apple dressing in it. My son had a cola light which was and ate Hahnchenbrust which is the German equivalent of Hunter's Chicken (chicken breast wrapped in bacon), a little more money at On a later visit we made an error with ordering our drinks (I explained to my son this was a typical example of lost in translation but the waiter changed his beer to something less alcoholic without a hint of irritation and with a big smile. On this occasion I chose a pasta meal which was a very hearty portion I struggled to finish it but it was really good. I saw couples enjoying their meals and a larger party of around eight people too. One point worth mentioning is that I saw one lady enjoying her food a good five minutes before her friend's meal arrived. There are differing opinions on this..do you feel rude eating whilst your friend sits and waits? Or do you tuck in whilst it's fresh and hot rather than know it had been sat under a heating grill waiting for the other meal to be prepared? I can't comment on whether this is something that usually happens in Germany as it was only our second experience in a restaurant whilst on holiday. There are daily specials on the board but if you have difficulty with the language ask for advice as certain meals are only available on certain days.

Furthermore, the place was nice and comfortable.

A real institution in Mülheim, delicious food and drink. and in summer a lasy beer garden next to the church.

1.As everything is freshly prepared, one has to adjust to half an hour waiting period; but what is then served was always excellent. By studying the anecdote-rich food beverage booklet, this waiting period flies as in the flight. 2.Some dishes from seasonal organic products are offered. 3.In the summer, the beer garden is sometimes quite full on the opposite side of the road, then its bike is placed in the nearby Wiener Platz storage facility in Buchheimer Strasse, because on the narrow sidewalk there is no longer a lantern pile for connection; 4.
