Th... read more We have eaten in Tokyo restaurant before and since we liked it very much, decided to have our New Year´s eve dinner there. The restaurant had 4 preset menus. The food looked too much, and we decided to order just 2 of the menus for the 4 of us, and if not enough, order some more later. The place became busy really fast. I guess a lot of people had made reservation for the same time. The phone did not stop ringing, with orders for food to go. The staff was running around nonstop, obviously overwhelmed. There was some confusion over who order what , which table got their 3rd or 4th course , etc. But the waitresses never lost their friendliness , clarified every confusion and corrected all the mistakes. As funny as it sounds, the confusion actually created that ``family`` feeling, as if you are at a big family gathering at a relative´s home. `` No, Auntie, I didn´t ask for more sauce, I asked for another beer , and already got one. I think someone over there asked for the sauce`` :) There were delays in bringing something, but I am not going to hold it against the restaurant. It is to be expected to have delays on a holiday night, when everybody eats at the same time. At some point the waitstaff looked really exhausted, but did not lose their friendliness and did not become argumentative over people not knowing if they just had this , or the other dish, and from which of their menus.( I am giving 4 points for service as a warning to other customers that there might be delays on busy days) The atmosphere overall was fun and upbeat. The food was really delicious. I do not know what authentic Japanese food is supposed to taste like. This was tasty. I do not remember the names of the dishes we had, just that we had the menus with fish /seafood. We would definitely go again, and would recommend it too.Tips: 1.I would highly recommend to make a reservation in advance, because both times we ate there, the restaurant filled up really fast.2.They have some nice wines to complement the sea food, ask for the wine list.

The place is clean, and the cooking process is transparent, you can even watch the chef hand-pulling noodles through the window!! I tried the Chongqing noodles, deliciously flavorful and satisfyingly spicy! If you can handle heat and are up for a challenge, you definitely won’t be disappointed!
