Was seated quixkly although restaurant was busy so must be a popular place. Great music and nice vibe with a mix of diners, family,friends and couples. I ordered a pasta dish there was slight confusion on my order but this was easily rectified. Overall a good experience with nice service and environment.

The lady standing behind the bar looked at... read more Passing by on our way back from the nearby Christmas market we popped in to see if there was a table for 2 available. The lady standing behind the bar looked at us as if we were mad and just said “No”. We were unsure if she had understood us as there were empty tables clearly visible so we asked again and then even felt the need to ask specifically if there was definitely not a table for 2 people available in next hour and she again just blankly said “No.” I know Germans are direct and blunt but in the hospitality industry you can’t be like that. We fully appreciated that there may well not have been a table available as they were probably fully booked but when asked the first time she could have replied “No, sorry we are fully booked” a little apology and brief explanation goes a long way.

We received a friendly welcome at the entrance, and the reservation worked out perfectly. A great atmosphere, but the chairs aren't great if you're spending three hours there. But that's complaining at a high level
