Good Italian food served by Italians. Lots of Italians eating here as well. Standard sort of antipasti, soups, pizza and pasta. Salads also served. Nice area and can sit outside. No complaints. View all feedback.
What Kimberly Nolan doesn't like about Rossini:
Had booked this restaurant based on Tripadvisor reviews. It highly reccomends veal dishes. My husband opted for veal and found it to be most dissapointing. Flavourless and tasted as if it had been boiled. It came with big almost raw carrot. My Pizza was...only OK. Waiter came to our table chewing ? food. I also noted a waiter leaving the kitchen also chewing ? food. We would not recommend this restaurant. Possibly we... View all feedback.
Now I know that this seems silly as it is about a piece of brot, but when everything is considered, this restaurant has a real problem on its hands. it all started with a not so friendly waiter who might be just a bad...day there was an an ant frozen in an ice cube, so I asked if I could still drink something. that upset him. he showed no courtesy during this transaction, but as I said, maybe it was just one of those days. then we ordered food. the olives arrived with broth, but we were confused by the later. we checked with another waiter who assured us that it came automatically with the meal. this is not the case. Our original waiter picked us up and I contested. he refused to take responsibility for his mistake and insisted that we had ordered him. I explained to myself that there was something confusion about a linguistic barrier and I dropped an F bomb. that pushed him over the edge. It's kind of funny. he repeated the word again and again. He even said that I should hold the flap and before I knew it I was banished from the restaurant. how fast did the dinge escalate and to cover everything, he had the nerve to ask for a tip! what a clown! this old man (not that there is something wrong with the old, it is just one way to describe him) must clearly find a new occupation. he is tired and has a terrible shadow over this restaurant. eating is not so great to start with so last thing that this restaurant needs is a bitter waiter who yells at her customers.
My friend wanted a pizza and should go better than an Italian restaurant. the waiter had a miserable face on him that doesn't make our night so pleasant. we ordered and wanted to get out of the place, eating was nice!
We have sometimes made a reservation for people before. at the end we were human. the crew could easily expand our table. my pizza (with spinach and laughs was wonderful, and eating that my friends had was also wonderful after them. the prices were o.k for a big city and the location. all in all we enjoyed being there and will come again.
Recommended by my hotel, it was in walking distance. The food was nice enough, bruschetta for starters then pasta. I also ordered a bottle of water, Euro, ridiculous price! There was a nice atmosphere and lots of people from the exhibition there that I...was attending, obviously more a tourist return that one for the locals.
My wife and I had a good dinner. The food is good and the atmosphere is relaxing. We choose due to the short distance to the Marriott Courtyard. It is a good option in the area.
