The restaurant is somewhat inconspicuous, but definitely an absolute secret tip for food and wine!

The dishes are well prepared... read more The new face of the historic Ōrgelchen, is an industrial design restaurant, which manages to be equally cozy with its predecessor. The dishes are well prepared from appetizer, to main dish to dessert. Well prepared asparagus dishes! The service was very warm from Fatima, and not only. Due to its excellent location in the centre of Cologne, it's quality and the good service and prices we will certainly return whenever in town.

The server made a huge fuss about an extra plate of tortellini (their mistake; we had repeatedly pointed out which dishes weren't coming), and there was absolutely no willingness to compromise. The steak was okay, but overpriced with minimal sides (three small potato halves, the rest just salad, and a small Coke – around €30). Card payments were only accepted for amounts over €50 – I had to borrow cash, and there was no attempt at accommodation. The service was consistently unfriendly. The drama was so intense that our entire group stopped talking. For the price, the service was absolutely abysmal, and the behavior was disrespectful. Not recommended – my colleagues were more excited about the sausages at the Christmas market afterward.
