Maredo Steakhouse - Köln

We went for a an early dinner and the restaurant was half empty. We waited min to get our order in. It took min to have our drinks. Then took another min to have our meals served. The most frustrating part was...that after all the wait the order was not correct and we were completely ignored about. The food was just ok.

Ten of us booked last Saturday whilst we were waiting at the door to be seated (we could see our table was ready) people were pushing past us to get to the door and the manager was letting them and others in from behind...us and then excusing herself by saying they had arrived first! She was so rude and when we were finally allowed in she gestured to our table and walked in the opposite direction. The food was quite good but the waiter service and attitude of the staff appalling.

The place was so busy but we found a table, The service was ok but a little bit slow. I asked for a beef burger medium with cheese, I receive it more than well done (is not eatable) without cheese. The creme brulee is not...fresh.

Very popular. Good selection of steaks. Well cooked and presented. Not outstanding, but very acceptable.

We visited the restaurant with my girlfriend and ordered a set of dishes. The waitress brought us a wrong drink and we asked to replace it with the right one. She did it. However the wrong drink has appeared in the final bill. When we...asked the lady to return the money she did it. But later, just before we left, she stopped us at the exit and started asking to show the bill again. After finding the bill in her garbage bin and reconciling the calculation, she let us go. Shame for Maredo to keep a service like that
