I'm not talking about experience. If you don't want to choose a pizza plate, half of them can be moved differently.

The ring is a connection from the Rhine to the Rhine, once the city wall stood here, and individual city gates are still mostly in the places that are today imp... read more The ring is a connection from the Rhine to the Rhine, once the city wall stood here, and individual city gates are still mostly in the places that are today important traffic junctions. The Ebertplatz is the northernmost square on the ring and an important traffic hub, here you can change the city railway, subway or bus line to get to the other areas. After some renovation work, however, the place is not really nice. I am not sure whether the Ebertplatz or the Barbarossaplatz is the most ugly place in Cologne. The concrete slabs remember the construction of the former GDR (plate construction) and especially at night I always have a bad feeling when I walk over the square. You don't feel safe here.
