La Tranquera - Köln

As we were in the vicinity of La Tranquera my wife and I decided to go there for a steak. We'd read the reviews and were curious to see it for ourselves. All in all the food was OK, the starters nice and the mixed grill for 2, of a respectable size. The meat was nice and tender but in our opinion lacked accompaniment, yes there was a 2 inch long corn on the cob and a small slice of red pepper each but not enough to relieve the palette after so much meat. The Dessert card was exclusively ice cream, shame, a slice of pie or cake would have been nice.The service was OK, with no undue waiting, fortunately, because after 90 minutes sitting on the studded leather chairs you land up sitting on your coats and pullovers. The value for money aspect, 77€ for two with aperitifs, starters, main dish, dessert and wine, was correct. Would I recommend it? yes but take a cushion with you to sit on.

This was very close to our hotel. We just wandered around the area and come across this place. It turned out to be a terrific food with a great atmosphere. Very much recommended

When we were near la tranquera, my wife and I decided to go there for a steak. we have read the reviews and were curious to see it for ourselves. everything in all was in order, the appetizers were beautiful and the mixed...Grill for 2 of a respectable size. the meat was beautiful and delicate, but our opinion was lacking in order to be guided, yes there was a 2 inch long mais on the cob and a small disc red pfeffer, but not enough to relieve the palette after so much meat. the dessert card was exclusively ice, shame, a piece of cake or cake would have been nice. the service was in order, without waiting indecent to be happy, because after 90 minutes sitting on the riveted leathersssula they land on their moms and pullovern sitting. the value for money aspekt, 77€ for two with aperitifs, appetizer, main dish, dessert and wein, was right. would I recommend it? Yes, but take a kiss to sit down.

We are tasty and travel crazy! No matter where we eat steaks all over the world. we'll come back here again and again, if you don't need a snuck and firlefanz, but a really good steak, then you're here!
