We had the course surprise menu, something... read more I was lucky enough to be invited here whilst in Cologne for business. The hospitality was intelligent and attentive. We had the course surprise menu, something I had never experienced before. The fact that I didn't know what was coming next meant that I...had no expectations or preconceptions, just curiosity and wonder as the little masterpieces arrived. It was a late night and I expected to feel too full to sleep. Instead, I felt an overwhelming feeling of wellbeing, perhaps because the courses were so light and fresh.

The service is very attentive and answers any questions about the menus and the preparation of the dishes. In my perception, all courses had a taste development of umani, bitter, sweet and salty. The interaction of cold in the form of sherbet and heat was also a taste experience for me that I have only experienced in the two-star kitchen so far. All in all, it was a successful evening that will certainly keep me busy for a few days afterwards. Many thanks to the service and kitchen team :

The restaurant strikes the perfect balance in every respect. The food combines traditional recipes with modern and clever innovations. The ambiance is sophisticated without being stuffy. The staff is competent and professional without being impersonal. On the contrary: the entire staff is very friendly and welcoming. A great restaurant!
