We showed up unannounced with a party of 8 including 2 kids. We were seated immediately, on a Thursday night. We ordered some lentil soup, a couple of appetiser plates, two Turkish pizzas, 2 salad plates, and the mixed grill for 4. This was more than enough, with maybe a meal for one left over. The appetizers were yogurt and tomato based pastes that are eaten with delicious Turkish bread. The pizzas are very thin and crunchy. They are served with fresh cilantro, radish and lemon wedges. They are nice and light. The mixed grill was delicious, served on rice and bulgar. I like the rice better. The grilled meats are classic Turkish specialties, little hamburgers, spicy ground kabobs, little lamb chops, chicken and lamb kabobs, garnished with grilled hot peppers, mushrooms and tomatoes. These are eaten with big, thin lavosh (think wheat tortillas). Everything was good. The service was just right. The place was lively, some might say noisy. The fact that the clientele was mostly of Turkish origin speaks to it's authenticity.

I have visited Kilim several times and were always very satisfied with the food.It looks not really like a restaurant, more like a take away with dine in options. But the food/meals they make is really tasty, fresh, delicious and in comparense to the price more then fair.Located within "little Istanbul" at Keupstrasse you will find a few restaurants like Kilim, but I think Kilim is the best on the street.I tried some soups, lamb and the fresh baked lahmacuns.Every meal is recommendable.Go for one of the lahmacuns (not one with much and many different toppings). With the fresh parsly and lemon it is just wonderful. After try a meat dish! The lamb is excellent. And take the free blacktea at the end of your meal. One of the best teas I have ever had.Service is avergae, friendly, helpful, nothing special.Very nice: they open late night til 3,4 am in the morning on the weekends.

We tried soup, borek, kofte and sac kavurma. Only soup and kofte were ok. Borek and sac kavurma were quite tasteless and with too much oil. I must say that pide and lahmacun dishes looked better but I don't know how good they're.I didn't have the time to try other places at Keupstrasse but there must be a better Turkish restaurant on this street.

One of the best Turkish restaurants on Keup Street. And probably the only place where I'll boycott Coca-Cola and the like That's why when I'm on Keup Street, I only eat there

Never never again!!! 7 of us leftovers from other customers were brought to us as a meze plate. The staff greeted us warmly, sat us down at the table, had tea/cay, chicken skewer plate (with fries, no, that 's not possible , either rice or bulgur (anything is fine, I worked in the restaurant industry for 8 years myself , burda para basacaklar, neyse, ordered an extra large plate of fries, meze plate Cay 5-10 DK sonra geldi, hadi önemi yok 1 meze plate bread super clean. The 2nd meze plate arrived after 20 minutes, disgusting
