On checking their website I saw that they have an evening Eat as much as you can buffet and expected the... read more Went for a Saturday evening meal at the Kaiser Palast. On checking their website I saw that they have an evening Eat as much as you can buffet and expected the restaurant to be full and it was. First sign it was busy was when...the convoy of cars we found ourselves in tried to find a parking space next to the restaurant. Second sign it was busy was the stream of would be diners making their way up the stairs to the entrance, yes the restaurant is on the first floor over a car show room, which sort of examples the lack of parking facilities in the near vicinity. rd sign the restaurant was busy was the queue at the reception area and the sight of the completely full restaurant. Yep the restaurant, by no means your conventional sized high street chinese restaurant was full to cracking point. Fears of an over long wait for a table where allayed when the restaurant manageresshostess offered the waiting guests a glass of mineral water or cola. A small gesture but much appreciated following which the actual wait for a table was a matter of a few minutes, no more. Not bad for a Saturday night! Once seated at our table the waiter was there almost immediately to take the order and a few minutes afterwards. again not bad. I've waited much longer in a small almost empty restaurant before now. The service was rapid and I respect the service team working under such condtions which I would liken to a railway station. I also appreciated that no sooner was a dish empty at the buffet it was refilled. Given the mass of diners I would have understood it if there was a lapse before replacement but there wasn't. Finally the all important point: The pricequality ratio. For approx. for including drinks and buffets, we felt that was a good ratio. So now the burning question: Go again or not? Yes we will go again with pleasure

Wir gehen hier mit einigen Kollegen einige male im Jahr Mittags essen.Das Restaurant ist sehr groß, so dass es zumindest Mittags keine Platzprobleme gibt, abend... read more Wir gehen hier mit einigen Kollegen einige male im Jahr Mittags essen.Das Restaurant ist sehr groß, so dass es zumindest Mittags keine Platzprobleme gibt, abends an beliebten Tagen sollte man aber besser reservieren.Das Mittagsbuffet ist gegenüber der Auswahl am Abend etwas eingeschränkt, es gibt z.B. dann keinen mongolischen Grill. Trotzdem ist die Auswahl reichlich und es wird kontinuierlich frisch nachgefüllt. Der Preis ist okay und wir sind immer zu satt raus gekommen. Durch das Buffet geht es auch sehr schnell, was für die Mittagspause ja durchaus relevant ist.

I got the nose full of gastronomy where a lot of money will be called. And I still get hungry. The imperial palace was such a way to get something sensible between the teeth. The restaurant is a typical All you can Eat restaurant for 500 people. But nicely decorated. There are very many tables for larger groups, the couple tables for couples and individual guests are manageable. But I wasn't on buffet either. So ask if there is also A la Carte. Good luck. So soup WanTan is not available in the buffet and Duck/Huhn ordered on hot plate. After a longer waiting period It was really freshly prepared was first served soup and then the food. Apparently there are no lovers in Cologne who want to eat with sticks. Only after the 3 times would my wish be fulfilled. I was particularly pleased that the waiter really spoke to Ast. All in all, my dinner was really delicious and reasonable from the price.

I have to say he's with one of the best of this kind. The quality of freshly prepared meat in wok is very good. The selection is plentiful and ranges from chicken, beef, pig over kangaroo and springbock. There are several vegetables and sauces. In addition to the Mongolian buffet, there are also standard foods such as onion beef, spring rolls, sweet sour, duck etc. This offer is also very delicious. Drink prices in the restaurant are also perfect. All in all good Chinese with great buffet.
