The beer was... read more This was first on our list to visit, in our search for authentic German cuisine. We sat in a communal hall, buzzing with activity and conversation. The beer was practically free-flowing, and the food was out of this world. It was the stuff of happiness. I would heartily recommend a visit.

We had the pork crackling and black pudding to start which were good, followed by the Vienna Schnitzel and Pork knuckle as mains. Portion sizes were good and the accompanying sides were tasty! The apple strudel was shared for pudding and was good. The staff are lovely and I think were appreciative of me attempting to speak in German, although they speak fluent English and we had a good laugh and my terrible German language!!! I would recommend and return without a doubt!
