Feedback
We came to the Grand Opening , and as expected, it was a bit chaotic. First of all, i must recognize the people here are extremely friendly, and even if the place was packed, they never lost their coolness. Something i didn 't like is that you really come out of here smelling like fries. They need to improve their vent-system. The burger: it was good, not extraordinary, but that 's hard to find here in Europe. There 's room for improvement, so if people here really listen to feedback, it 's going to be fine. Like i said, it was the first day, so let 's not be harsh. The paddy was pretty much greatly done, cooked to the perfect point, i felt it lacked a bit of salt and pepper, the bun in my opinion was good, firm toasty but yet soft fluffy, it didn 't fell of to crumbs even with the juicy 180gr. paddy. The fries, were average, a bit over fried, but not really burned or to crispy, they really need to work on that. A big plus is that they 're hand cut fresh potatoes, and i liked the touch of leaving them unpeeled. Standard Fritz drinks, nothing new in a burger joint. On behalf of the sauces, i can 't say much, i 'm more of a purist and just take my fries with ketchup, as-well as my burger, so the whole fancy sauces are not my thing. This is a good will 4 star review because of the chaos they overcame in their first day and the hope of improvement mentioned above. I will definitely come back in a couple of weeks to see how they 're doing when they 're already established and develop a system.
Before it was one of this really great turkish imbiss where the döner was great but the everyday changing homemade dishes were just so delicious. Now the same owners new concept. Service is nice but difficult mostly to get a table in the evenings. I had a very yummy chili burger maybe a bit too greasy, the fries where nicely crispy. Pitty they dont serve the local beer (no alcohol at all) But even if I am still mourning about the wonderful turkish soups vegetable dishes, this is a great place to get a good burger and take home with a good glass of Kölsch.
This place confuses me, it's like a kebab restaurant decided to be a burger joint. The burgers are presented nicely but it doesn't taste like burger. It's priced similar to a macdonald menu and the staff is actively working but it still doesn't taste like any burger I ever had before. Good service, small restaurant and dedicated staff to the cause of producing something they think looks like a burger.
Nothing really to complain about. Burgers were not bad. Prices were not cheap but consistent with how much fancy burgers like to cost these days. Service was fine. It was a good alternative instead of waiting for the best burger place down the street which still needs to be tried since this place did have empty dining tables that we could occupy and could serve us more quickly. I 'm sure there 's even better burgers but this filled us with the cheapest meal including fries and a drink and a sauce costing about 9. I would not travel across town for their burgers but I definitely wouldn 't mind going again if I were in the area.
